Hi Everyone

Over at The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog (TCCCB) we are being sponsored by Eureka Stamps and our theme is 'Birthday Celebrations'.  I am using this cute image called 'Best Friends'.

All papers and embellishments are from Websters Pages - I love all of the soft colours of the paper and how delicate the ribbon flower and pins look.

Thanks for stopping by today - I hope you will join us over at TCCCB and check out all the great projects from the rest of the DT.

See you next time.

Scary'd Bear - Love To Create

Hi Everyone

Today over at Love To Create our theme is Halloween and we are being sponsored by Stamp Fairy.  I just love the images they have over there, but I am especially fond of the teddies.  For my card I used the image 'Barry Spooky Bats'.

I printed and coloured the image several times, and then cut it out by hand  so that I could layer it up and give the image a bit more dimension. Then I decided to put it into a recessed window card - there is a great tutorial for making it here.

All the paper and embellishments are from my stash.

I hope you will stop by the Love To Create challenge blog and join us for a chance to win some of these cute images.

Until next time.

Sassy Studios Blog Hop/New Release

Hi Everyone

Welcome to the latest release and blog hop from Sassy Studios.

You should have arrived here from Kitty's Blog, but if you have arrived here first you may want to go back to the beginning at Sassy Studios - I would hate for you to miss out on any of the great projects (not to mention the chance to win prizes.)  You will meet the newest members of DT, so I hope that you will visit them and leave them some love.

Lindsay has created some wonderful images for us to create with, and I was given this beautiful breast cancer survivor image to create with.  I really felt quite challenged on how to incorporate this image into a Halloween Themed blog hop - but people have to deal with this awful disease everyday, it doesn't take a day off for holidays sadly.  So here is my card, first photo is the outside.

And inside.

Your next stop along the way is my sassy sister Karal's Blog.  Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog to be in with a chance of winning some great prizes, and we would love for you to join in with the challenge.

Here is the hop order (just in case you get lost!)

See you next time.

Come Gaze Into My Crystal Ball...

Hi Everyone

Today I have a card that I made with the Facebook Freebie from Simply Betty Stamps - thank you Betty!  There were actually 2 images available (one for free and the other for $1.00) and I chose 'Fortune Teller Betty'.  Check out the details here for how to get the image and join in the challenge.

For this image the challenge was to use rhinestones and crystal glaze.. The rhinestones you can see clearly, but the crystal glaze on the crystal ball of the image is hard to see because I placed acetate over the whole thing to represent the 'glass'.  Here are a couple of photos showing the light reflecting off the acetate.

This was such a fun image to colour and create with.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Until next time.

You Hold My Heart ATC - Love To Create

Hi Everyone

Today I have a little DT project for you, literally "little" - an Artist's Trading Card (ATC).  Over at Love To Create we are being sponsored by Di's Digis and A Day For Daisies - the image I chose to create with is called Pearls In My Hair.

All the papers I used for this project are from Websters Pages, and the small flowers I made using a Marvy flower punch.  I coloured the image with ProMarkers and used a little Tulip 'Beads in a Bottle' to accentuate the pearls.

So just how little is an ATC - the actual measurements of this card are 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.  Here is another look at it beside an 'AA' battery.

Come on over and join us at Love To Create, check out all the DT projects and may be you can win some of these digis for yourself.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Creative Fingers

Hi Everyone

Today I have a DT card for you from Creative Fingers.  Our theme for this weeks challenge is 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' and we are being sponsored by Sassy Studios.  I decided to use Boom Box Sassy (mainly because I had the Cyndi Lauper song running through my head!)

I used this bright fun paper from my stash (American Crafts), and added a little card candi, a couple of arrows and a sentiment made using my silhouette sketch pens.

Hope you will pop over to Creative Fingers and check out the rest of the 'fun' projects from the DT.  Come join us for the challenge for the chance to win some of these sassy images of your own.

See you soon.

Just A 'Gentle' Reminder

Hi Everyone

Today I am guest designer over at The Bugbytes - thank you once again Pam for having me.  As we all know October is 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month', and so I have a card to share with everyone, which I hope will act as a 'gentle' reminder about not such a gentle subject.  Forgive my sense of humor - it's just they way I am.

This image was a 'freebie' - given  away by Tamara,(the artist behind The Stamping Chef) - she gave this as part of a challenge on her Facebook group.  Thank You Tamara!

The background of the card is paper from DCWV 'Rockstar' stack, and the letters are cut with my Cameo, run through the Xyron and coated in pink glitter.  Here is a closer look at them and the image which of course is coloured with ProMarkers.

I hope you won't be offended my the inside sentiment, as I said it is my sense of humor and how I tend to handle serious/difficult topics like this - but I truly want you to take it seriously.

I am not going to go on about the number of people I know who had their breast cancer detected early because of mammograms, or were diagnosed too late due to lack of screening - sadly, we all know too many.  Just get it done, OK?

See you next time.

ICU - The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog

Hi Everyone

Today we have a new challenge over at TCCCB - 'How Adorable'.  We are being sponsored by QKR, and I chose to create with this image 'Sneaking Away', because when I saw it I thought 'How adorable!'

The image is coloured with ProMarkers, the paper is from my stash (?Recollections) and the sentiment is created using my Silhouette Cameo and sketch pens.

Take a look over at TCCCB and check out what the rest of the DT have been up to - I hope you will also join us for the challenge.

Until 'ICU' next time :)

Happy Fall Y'All - Paper Craft Planet Progressive Challenge (Free Sassy Studios Image)

Hi Everyone

Today is the beginning of the new progressive challenge over at Paper Craft Planet.   The theme for challenge #6 is "Fall" and runs from today through November 14th, so you have a whole month to play along.  Lindsay the artist behind Sassy Studio Designs very generously is giving away this image for you to create with.

Don't you just love Scarecrow Sassy?  BUT REMEBER - Please respect Lindsay's art and do not share Sassy Studio Designs images even though they are free.  Please refer your friends to join PCP so that they can receive their own image.  Thank You.

Here is my project.

The wreath is made from a file from the Silhouette online store and cut using my Cameo.  All the papers I used are my Heidi Grace and are from a paper project kit I bought from Joanns.  I used my Cameo to print and cut out the image and then coloured her with ProMarkers.

Take a look over at Paper Craft Planet and see what the other members of the DT have come up with to inspire you.  There you will find all the details of how you can get your free image so that you can play along with us.

I can't wait to see what you all create.  Until next time.

Bratty Little Witch (Part 2) - Crafty Bloggers Network.

Hi Everyone

As promised I am here with Part 2 of my 'Bratty Little Witch' (image from Rick St Dennis) - the project that I made for CBN.  I choose to use just part of this image because it made me chuckle (and like I said last week I have a bit of a warped sense of humor!)

This is actually a recycled gift bag from a store - I just love it when I can reused bags like this.  I coloured the image as always with ProMarkers, added the tag (stamp from $1.00 bin at M's) and mounted it on some Halloween paper to match the card from last week.  Here are some close ups.

Oh that poor cat!  Here is a look at the two projects together.

Hop on over to CBN and see what the rest of the DT have been up to, while you are there I hope you will join in with the challenge and may be win some images of your own.

Until next time.

Sketch Challenge #87 - Love To Create

Hi Everyone

Today there is a new sketch challenge over at Love To Create, and we are being sponsored by Sassy Studios.  Here is my card using 'Masquerade 1' - sadly I think this image may be retired, but this one is very similar.

The papers I have used are from the Brights Glitzy Glitter Stack (DCWV) and the image is coloured with ProMarkers.  The sentiment stamp is from a set called 'Small Script' by Stampin' Up.

This is the sketch that I worked from (as you can see I haven't changed it at all.)

I hope you will have time to take a look at all the great projects by the Love To Create DT, and come and join us for the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.

Bratty Little Witch (Part 1) - Crafty Bloggers Network

Hi Everyone

Today I have at DT project for Crafty Bloggers Network (CBN) - the image is called 'Bratty Little Witch' by Rick St Dennis.  I have a bit of a warped sense of humor (which you will see with my next week's project that goes along with this card.)

As usual I coloured my image with ProMarkers, and used some Halloween scrap paper from my stash.  The sentiment is from a rubber stamp that I have had for ages, I think from the $1.00 bin at M's, and the little spider is from a Cameo file with just the addition of some googly eyes.

I finished off the project with a matching envelope (because I have too many odd pieces of Halloween paper!)

I hope you will join us for the challenge over at CBN, and don't forget to check back next week for the 2nd part of this project.

See you soon.

Beautiful - Love To Create

Hi Everyone

Today over at Love To Create - 'Breast Cancer Awareness' (support/pink).  This week we are being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps and Eureka.  Here is my card using an image called 'Gracie'.

The background paper is from my stash, which is from a line by Heidi Grace, the flowers and butterfly and made with punches, and the swirly bow is cut with a Cheery Lynn die.  I finished off the card with a few pearls and a chipboard sticker (Cloud 9) from my stash.

Take a peek over at Love To Create and check out all the other great inspiration from the rest of the DT.

Until next time.
